3D Commission - Axl

A commission for AxolotlGaming of his namesake character, Axl!

Making this little guy was such a joy. He's got such a cute design! The client also gave me permission to sort of go wild with his skin materials, so I had a lot of fun trying to replicate the skin texture of actual axolotls and other mole salamanders. This is also the very first time I've added a clearcoat layer to a skin material. As a matter of fact, this is probably the first time I've ever modeled an amphibian, let alone a salamander.
